ELEGAST! On March 8th at about 8:30-9 am, our Dutch Friesian ster mare, Angela M, surprised us with a morning birth! Here is her colt (sired by Wander 352)---strong, smart, friendly and beautiful! He was standing in under an hour and is very healthy! He's about four days old in this photo. Angela is doing fantastically! She asked for a carrot immediately and is a great mom! She also loves Rob and I being with her and her colt---she's really an angel! Please check out newly posted photos on our "Dutch Friesians" page! I'll be adding the birth story soon--so please check back! (Wander 352 x Angela M) photo taken March 12th, 2009

Welcome
To Our Site!
EquiSea Farms is located in New Kent County, Virginia-just minutes from Historic Jamestown, Yorktown and Colonial Williamsburg. We offer Beautiful Black, Straight Egyptian Arabian & Dutch Friesian Horses, Llamas & Fine Art.
We care for the farm ourselves, so each horse & llama receives personal attention and love. Our horses and llamas live outside and are happy and healthy.
Thee Samurai, our exceptional 2004 Straight Egyptian, Black Stallion, is available for breeding to select mares. Artificial insemination and cooled shipped semen are available. Thee Samurai was bred to EquiSea's exquisite, black, Straight Egyptian, BKL Bint Noraah! The resulting rare and beautiful Black Arabian foal will be available for purchase in 2008.
Our majestic, imported Dutch Friesian mares, Angela M (ster) and her 2006 daughter, Trienke Zeemeermin, make up EquiSea's foundation Friesian broodmare herd. Angela's 2007 colt, Wander's Nepteunis, by the approved Dutch Friesian stallion Wander 352, is an outstanding youngster with great promise. Angela is bred back to Wander 352 for a March 2009 foal!
We raise gentle, beautiful, registered llamas, as companions for horses and people. Several of our llamas have excelled in the show ring. Our herdsire llama is available for breeding. Crias (llama babies) will be offered for sale each year. Exquisite yarn, spun from our herd will be available.
Our farm is home to Karen's art studio. Sculpture and paintings are available and custom orders are encouraged! Karen is also a professional photographer and her work graces these webpages.
Please enjoy photos and stories of our Arabians, Dutch Friesians, Llamas & Art and contact us with your questions and comments. Visitors are always welcome! Thanks for stopping by!
